Yesterday, June 6, 1944, the Allied armies under the command of General Dwight D. Eisenhower invaded Nazi-held Fortress Europe at the beaches of Normandy. They paid a heavy price.
It is now D-Day plus one. You are in command of an M-4 Sherman tank, part of a U.S. armored division, and you are tasked with pushing the German armored units back from the shoreline until the beachhead is secured. This will not be easy.
The enemy tanks have bigger guns and thicker armor. They have the advantage of being dug in and having staked out lines of fire. The advantages you have are maneuverability, a steady stream of supply, and artillery support. Also, the USAAF and the RAF rule the skies.
You will need all the wits and skill you can muster to keep the enemy from breaking through to the beaches where they can stop the landings. The free world is depending on you. Don't let us down.
